Course Description
In this course, you'll learn how to recognize the warning signs and risk factors of suicide, and how to intervene when a student is in distress. You'll gain practical tools to foster open communication, reduce the stigma around mental health, and create a supportive classroom where students feel safe seeking help. You'll also learn when and how to refer students to mental health professionals to ensure they get the support they need.
