Course Description

This course helps educators use Google Classroom to organize instruction, create digital learning experiences, provide student feedback, and analyze student data. Participants will learn how to create and manage classes, use the Stream, People tab, Classwork page, and settings, and design assignments, questions, quizzes, and resources that support student learning.

Participants will also explore Google tools such as Docs, Forms, Sheets, rubrics, and AI-supported tools including Gemini, NotebookLM, and Gems to create resources, support engagement, provide feedback, and make data-informed instructional decisions.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Navigate and organize Google Classroom effectively.
  • Create and manage classes, assignments, questions, quizzes, and resources.
  • Use Gemini, NotebookLM, and Gems to support resource creation and student learning.
  • Provide meaningful digital feedback using comments, suggesting mode, comment banks, rubrics, and return features.
  • Create assessments and analyze student data using Google Forms and Google Sheets.
  • Communicate with students and families through Google Classroom tools.
