We all have the same 24 hours, 1,440 minutes in a day. What we do with that time is up to us. In this 3 credit graduate-level course, students will examine the importance of making each day count. You will watch videos, read articles, take several quizzes, examine how you spend your time, and practice implementing four time management techniques.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. To understand the concept “Control your Time, don’t let Time control you.”
  2. Analyze the biggest rocks in your life (what is really important to you).
  3. Log 24 hours in our day to see how your day is spent.
  4. Identify and recognize your “Personality Time Management” types.
  5. Examine what Time Zappers are and find ways to increase your productivity by minimizing distractions.
  6. Recognize ways you can leave work at work.
  7. Learn and practice four time management techniques.

Optional: Adams State University Credit

*Optional Adams State University credit after the class ends (additional $165).

*Credit can not be awarded for both “Time Management” and “Time Management For Student and Teacher Success” due to overlap in content and objectives.
